Plz help me identify and calculate the value!

Hi there im new here. This Forum is very cool and i got a lot of information from here!!!

So my new baby is an charvel, and its very hard to get here in Germany

So please take care in your Value Calculation...

So here it is...

Its an neckthru charvel with the serial C60####.
The owner has bought it in the 80's, so the myth that the number "6" after the "C" stands for "made in 86" seems to fit in!

The guitar has some scratches on the back cause someone played the guitar with a terrible belt-buckle!

When a few persons identify and calculate the value ill tell you how much i must pay.


Everything is original, Kahler Trem, Jackson PU´s and Jackson mechanics.

Charvel Model 6. IF its in good shape (which it looks to be), I would say around $600 in the US, but probably around $800 USD there?

First off, Welcome to the Board. As to value. We, in the US, see them all the time. Our value estimates have no bearing on you in Europe. It comes down to you liking the guitar and it is what you need to play your style.

I just want to know if shes got a huge value or not... I think in 20 years shes very expensive for collectors... but ill never sell my first charvel!!!

By the way are there a lot of similar guitars (model 6 neckthru with kahler and dark lila colour) like this?

I'm a bit closer to you geographically.
Model 6's are very popular around here. They go for 600€ and up (with the current exchange rates that comes out to $840) around these parts.

They aren't super-rare though. I see them pop up for sale every now and then. That particular color is one of the most common ones.

Yeah. A Japanese 86 Black Cherry Model 6. As other people said, not the rarest guitar on the planet but for the money, I can't really think of any guitar that is better.

I swapped my M6 for an Ibanez Prestige RGA321. Not sure how much they cost there but they are pretty damn expensive...

Im very happy with the Ibanez. However the Model 6 and most Charvel Model series tend to be priced very differently in all countries. Look around and see if you can find something in your country and go and estimate the value from that...I've seen them go in USA for prices of Squires here. :S
