  • New Addition to the Family

I'm not sure if the strange look on the body is a reflection, or what the heck is going on.
I'll soon find out when I unwrap her!

In any case, my boss used to have one of these and I loved it... very toneful and eager to make all kinds of sounds.

I've had three model 6's, but never a bolt on.

Will be nice to adopt one finally... hope she gets along with the other members of the family.

Hmmm... now you're making me think.
            LOL
            OK, In hand:
1-Ibanez (NJ custom shop w/Joe Satriani neck, made and played by/for him, main bitch, had since '87 or so)
2-Peavey Import Raptor... a keeper, genuine plywood body
3-Peavey USA Predator DX (the funky twin pickup bridge, single, single)
            4-Jackson Ontario (bought from Dpivar)
5-Fernandes (mutt guitar, Ibanez locking trem, tex-mex pickups, trans-ash body, leaving soon, probably)
6-Tokai AST-55H Super Edition (leaving soon, probably)
7-Charvel Model 6 (plum... currently on loan to a Marine going to Iraq.. God bless the USA, etc.)
8-Jackson Jap Dinky (Son figures he owns it by now... I added Jackson locking trem)
9-Kramer Pacer (Son's second one he figures he owns, from Parts, with fernandes neck, custom red w/black stripes VH style)
            10-PRS Santana (first year Korea)
11-Kramer Pacer Imperial ('85, see my refinish thread)

            Waiting (shipping):
            12-Westone Corsair (Korea)
13-Charvel Model 6 (for brother Al)
14-Kramer Focus 3000 (for brother Dan... must assemble)

I won't list the ones I've given to friends over the past year.

            LOL

            Can you say GAS?

Hey, I used to work in a music store, and have a deep need to re-live my youth.

Congrats! It looks like you can see the guy's foot & pants leg on the bass side from the bridge pickup upward, so I think it's just a reflection.

sweet. You got a "legs of a dude taking a photo" graphic. That was a rare factory finish

I just picked up a Charvel that's blue just like that one but has two humbuckers instead of the 1 hum and 2 singles. I think it's a model 2A?,....Does that sound right guys?
                            Thanks for any info.!

I think the 2 hum version is a model 4.
