Howdy!
I've got an original transparent red Charvel Surfcaster with two lipsticks that I adore. It has a tremolo arm (supposedly the very last one that Jackson could find to fit a Surfcaster), and it was fine for a few years. Lately though, the arm won't stay in and falls out when moving around even a bit. I've had it in for a set-up and asked around online, but no one seems to know what to do--for most folks, it's the first Surf they're seeing.
Does anyone know how the tremolo arm stays in? I see a "set screw" on the side but that doesn't seem to affect the arm tension in the right way. Any help or referrals would be appreciated!
