Congrats!, that's a great deal.

Predators were made in Japan, and they come with the high quality schaller trem,
I checked out one of it's immediate predecessor, the 3DR and it had a slim neck.

Personally, I think that 1989 year had the coolest guitars, in terms of colors and configurations

I bought Dpivar's USA Ontario Dinky a while back.
The neck on the predator and that one could be exchanged.
Same feel.
Same quater-sawn mild figuring going on in the back.
Same same same.
Thin, comfy.
