Nothing new to you guys, you've seen a million of these. But it's a first of its kind for me! I had an '86 Model 3 which I sold because I'm a moron. Been on the lookout for another Model since and finally the opportunity presented itself. And I wasn't disappointed with this one either. They're truly killer guitars.

It's all original and plays wonderfully. I like what age does to the neck finish on these. Slightly yellowed Pearl White looks great too! Like fine wine...

Wasn't too impressed with the JT-6. The block is light as a feather! Have plans to replace the trem with an OFR, those drop right in, correct? I like the Jackson pickups but I've liked them on my other J/C axes too.

Congrats... you're going to be very happy with that unit.
I think you might want to double check on the OFR thing... The Schaller JT-590 may be a better option... I'm not sure.
Others here in the forum will have more information than I do with regard to that.
In any event, play hard and enjoy the hell out of it!!!!

An OFR will fit just fine.
The trem isn't recessed, so there won't be any issue with the lock screws.
You may want to contact Dave (www.fretsonthenet.com) for some Floyd friendly JT-6 replacement posts. They work great!

Pearl White is one of my favorite colors. I used to have a 1986 Model 4 in Pearl White. Good luck in your search for a Model 2...I just got a 87/88 Model 2 in red a few weeks ago.

A Schaller licensed Floyd (JT-590) will cost about the same as an OFR so I figured I'd just go original. The Schallers are really nice units though, have had two and still have one in my Soloist Pro.

Thanks for the heads up on the Frets on the Net trem posts! I've read a lot of good things about Dave and his products on here.
