Late 1980's Charvel Scale Length Question.

I have a 1988 Charvel Model 4 Bolt On, which I know is a 25.5" scale guitar. I was looking at a 1988 Charvel Model 5 Neck Thru, and it seemed to me that it had a shorter scale lenght (probably 24.75").

Can anyone here confirm what the scale length is on a 1988 Model 5?

It's 25.5". The only short scale import Charvels I know of came the next year with the Fusions and the 750XL.

I own a 1988 Model 5 and yes, it is 25.5" scale.

I got a chance to measure the distance from the nut to the 12th fret on the Model 5 - it's the same as the Model 4 and longer than a PRS (which is 25" scale) - so I'd agree that the Model 5 is 25.5".
