Dave (member Budman68 here) makes the best pickup rings you can buy anywhere, and his specialty is making replacements for the oversize rings from covered Jackson pickups.

I already posted a link to the item you seek in this thread.

No need to multi post all over the forum.

Dave also makes custom orders too. I got a new pickup ring custom made to compensate for the angled neck on my Model 2 (just like Gibson p/u rings.) All I did was give him the dimensions I wanted including front and back height and I got the exact ring I wanted. Lets the pickup stay parallel to the strings. Can't ask for better service than that.

You will be happy with what you buy from him!

Waiting on an order from Dave, right now, for the very such pickup ring type, as well as a few other parts for my 86 Model 4. Can't wait to get them in and install them. Any idea what the waiting time is, roughly?

He's been very quick when I've ordered (shipped within a couple of days), but I think it all depends on his workload.

It's been close to 3 weeks, so I'm guessing he's swamped.

That's a great site!, I wish I would have know about it before I spent some $$ on a cheaper Charvette to rape it of the parts for my Charvel model 2 and 3A.

Yep, this is correct and it mentioned your wait time in the email for the total and shipping. Unfortunately I don't know who you are (your real name :ROTF so I can't help! Shoot me an email if you'd like.

                  It's friggin crazy busy here....

                  and thanks as always, fellas-

Ah yes, there it is. "3-4 weeks". Missed it. Sorry, wasn't complaining, Dave, was just inquiring. For some reason, I have a tendency of falling through the cracks of life, so I tend to stay on top of things a little more than most. I figured you were probably just busy as hell, though, which is why I didn't bother you with a personal email. Can't wait to receive the parts, and check out your work.

Update: The parts came, today, ironically enough, and the pickup ring looks really nice. It is a solid piece and not some thin, over the counter item. Nice work, Dave!
