    You are right ! I added that on top of the model-page.

    Absolutely right ! By photoshop-ing all these model-pics, I realized that huge number of great guitars; and if I had the chance to pick one, it would take weeks to decide, which model I'd want !

      Who als deserves a bit of credit is my buddy Jochen Schmidt (he's not a member here) who originally compiled this list for a German guitar forum. You took this list and translated it. A nice addition are the pics!

        You are right ! I mentioned that in the "Grunt Work" thread a week before I transformed it into this website.

          I'm keeping my eyes open for an 850XL(Bass)..maybe some of these(Charvel Basses) would eventually make the list??!.

            I already thought about a "Bass-section" - maybe I'll find the time ...

              Awesome job man!
              One thing I noticed is that the pickup configuration that you noted for the 1986 Model 3A (pickguard model) was HH. This may have been true I guess (different configs for same model thru same year??), but I know that mine is HSS with all of the correct Jackson p/u's. And a quick scan on Ebay backs my thinking that all of the 1986 3a's were HSS.

                According to the catalog-scans at audiozone.dk the Model 3 was H/S/S and the Model 3A was H/H:

                Having a pickguard and a pool route made it pretty easy to modify;
                so this might explain different Model 3/3A configurations !
