    My old silver sparkle 750XL archtop is one of the guitars I wished I kept. I tought the stock pups sounded a bit "dead" at that time. I traded it for a Mesa Boogie MRK III head ..a very long time ago..around '91

    The heavy silver flake was purdy tho..what a cool finish!!!

        A Custom Custom has an Alnico 2 magnet, Custom 5 has Alnico 5, and the Custom has ceramic. All are wound the same.
