This is the one I received from straycat. Awesome!!!!

They really are quite special and very limited in numbers.
I took me 5+ years to finally get one.I traded a Kramer Baretta II for my 88 at a guitar show.

It sounds awesome!!! the J95 is like new! very strong and sounds falt out sick! no muffled sounds, great clean! and with over drive, this guitar is a flat out freak! My other model 88 is a beast/freak and knew I could not go wrong with another one, especially from Straycat. Straycat put an awesome tune and setup on this axe. We hooked up and went to a couple guitar stores and i played her through some amps before she made her trek to her new home. I play through Peavey JSX 120 head and a Marshall 1960A slant cab. running either a P.O.D 2.0 or a Rolad Gp-8 for effects.

long time no bright ideas and messages...
is there any model 88 for sale these days? the only one I've found is 1.3k USD, including few deep scratches on the hull, (+chainsaw case...)
These days 1300$ is too much, isn't it?

Well, a couple of years ago I had a Model 88 GAS attack, but it was impossible to find any on sale, even though I had searched for months.

Finally I found a body on eBay and decided to build my own Model 88 mutt/custom, using a Model 7 neck, an OFR and a J-90C I already had:

I have #530 that is near mint I got off ebay in 2010 ,I got it autographed on the back of the headstock by JAKE E LEE , one of my best friends / neighbor growing up ,her best friend is dating jake so I got to meet him after a show and had him autograph it , I'm not sure how to post pictures on here but when I figure it out I will post , I put a PRS HFS pickup in it and a cts 500k true 10% tolerance vol pot in it and it screams
