Just to add some more confusion to the ID-issue !
Today I recieved the neck for my Charvel-Mutt-Project. It has "2D" stamped on the heel:
So I thought, Model 2 neck - fine !
I checked the nut: Kahler Fulcrum "After the nut" Stringlock - fine !
And then, I noticed the logo:
The guitar-shaped "R" logo ? As we know (or should I say "thought we'd know" ), they started to use the "R"-logo in '88, maybe late '87 ! And they used Kahler Fulcrum trems only on '86 models !?!
So what ? Another example of picking parts on the random principle ?
Would be interesting to know the S/N of the guitar, that neck was bolted to.
