I have a CHARVEL PREDATOR BLACK which i bought used back in 1993. Can any one tell me by serial # in what year it was made? S# 363760.

SR71, my data shows early 1991....but could be late 90. Hope this helps.

SR, maybe check there..... As far as serial numbers, I have a Predator at 358XXX which I have logged as a 90. I also have a Predator at 367XXX which I considered a 91. Obviously these fall in with all bolt-on Charvels offered in those years - unfortunately your 363XXX falls at my yearly break estimate. More data will help - I'm workin' on it.....

When I get home tonight I'll check what my Predator serial is. Although I have no idea what year it is...would there be a date in the neck pocket?

348038, no Fort Worth, Texas on the plate, just Charvel logo. I guess this puts it in early 90/late 89?

Yup...

Spivonious, my 89 / 90 approximate [very approximate] break point is 344000. What is cool is that your guitar is the fifth and lowest "no address" serial # I have. Anyway, to date I have about 375 bolt-on guitars [1986-1991] logged....the Model Series years sort out fairly nicely...the "toothpaste" years are more of a challenge. Hey, but I'm workin' on it...LOL!

I have a 375 CSB flame top which I think is a 90 or 91 and it has the no Ft Worth plate 351154.Not sure when the flame top 375's ended I'm thinking 92.
