Be sure to give us your opinion of the tone comparison! I'm very curious, because didn't we recently hear of one of the solid ones not being mahogany/maple after someone stripped it?
Nice score!! I love mine!!! The amber is very nice! Make sure to get the details to Jackson1. I would love to see more pics!

I confirm that the solid color one is not made of mohogani (I've tried to strip away some paint in the bridge cavity).. the amber one is also far more heavier than the pearl blue one
I cannot compare the two sounds cause the blue has two duncan (TB4 and Jazz) and the amber one has stock pickups.. but i'll upgrade also that soon
Damn, I wish I kept mine. It had a cool silverflake with off-white binding. I never saw metal flake like that. I was moving all kinds of gear at that time. I think I traded it for a Mesa Mrk III around '91/'92. I had a couple things I really regret gettin' rid of..that was one!
My 750XL smelled like coco powder mix!!! I thought it was the case. Whenever I had it out of the case..the whole room would smell like coco. That was awesome!
