Neck pocket cracks suck

So I when shoping for a case today, found a Gator case that worked as long as I added black polishing cloth folded in half under the neck plate. I got home notice two small neck pocket cracks in the finish : (

I guess trying out all the cases took it toll. Something when you try to do the right thing to protect it you cause more harm.

Make me wonder if I would be better off just leaving it and my 750 on stands. That prospect worries me too, just too easy to damage on a stand.

It it means anything, the cracks are common, and only finish deep, most of the time.
I know, it was probably perfect, and now has them.
But, they never bother me when I'm considering buying an axe.
When guitars get some age to them, the finish doesn't always agree with the wood under it... and little neck pocket finish cracks, or sometime rather large ones appear.
Consider it mojo, and leave that stress behind you.
