I tried to search and it wont pull up anything. I'm sure this has been asked before, so sorry to ask again.. I have an 87 and 88 model 4. what is the body wood? I always thought they were poplar back in the day.. But I think Ive read that they are basswood.. whats the truth??

As far as I know all Model 4s had basswood bodies !
