What Type of Charvel is this?

I want to introduce my Self... My names Joe,, and i just stumbled upon this Site wondering if i could get some info on my Old guitar.. i bought it at a Pawnshop for $150..

I just recently Traded this Guitar for a 92 dinky reverse Jackson maple neck....But i was wonder what model this guitar is?? and a little bit more info on it..

model 5...'87 or so, isn't that rootbeer? (didn't I have this discussion before as what colors were available what years?). Cool old skylark too.. ..one of my first tube amps.

Black Cherry is the color. Here's the catalog page for it:

The catalog says it has the JE-1000 gain boost, but I've only ever seen them with the JE-1200 midboost.

Depends on the condition, but assuming structually sound and just normal wear and tear, I've seen them go for $450-$550 on eBay.

Yeah the skylark sounds Very good has the original speaker. i had the tubes replaced.. It was originally in the trash.. and i Just happen to see it and snagged it up and plugged it in.. and got a fairly decent shock...the amp some how was grounding out through my guitar when i went to play it..

I'd prefer the Model 5 over the Dinky, but hey, that's my taste in guitars.

Love the model 5 too though, especially in that color.
