  • Charvel trem help

Hey everyone, I just bought my first Charvel. Its a model 4 with pearl fin inlays, rainbow crackle finish, JT-6. Its in pristine condition cosmetically. Right now its in the shop getting rewired (it had a hack job done when I bought it). Ill post pics when I get it back. My question is will an Original Floyd Rose or Schaller Floyd fit this guitar as a direct replacement fot the JT-6 with no mods? Thanks!

According to this thread: http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/show...light=jt6+swap (which I found with the search function by typing "JT6 Swap"), it is a direct replacement for a Floyd or Schaller.

Thanks. I guess I should have searched first. I tried asking this question on Harmony-central (where I usually post) but they told me to ask here because you guys know your stuff really well.

You just have to make sure that the replacement trem has a long sustain block. 42 mm I believe. Most come standard with 37mm.
