1988 Model 1 Pics!

My Model 1 came in yesterday and as I posted in the other thread, it has some bumps and bruises here and there but hey, it is a 20+ year old guitar!

I cleaned and polished it, put new strings and set it up. Most importantly I removed the SD Sh-13 and installed an SH-10 that I had. The guitar sounds and plays very nice now. I am stoked.

I notice you have the "regular" nut. I have a Model 3 with the string lock and when I tried to remove it completely (I HATE it), the strings wouldn't stay in the nut. Do you have that problem?

the model 1 has the vintage style trem and no locking nut. I have the trem "decked" and don't use it.
