      Holy crap! Let's run down that list.

      - White EMG-81 -> $105
      - EMG-81 install -> 15 minutes
      - Re-wiring -> 15 minutes + $5 wires
      - New Strings -> $5
      - Re-string and set up -> 20 minutes
      - Guitar Service -> What is this?

      So that's $115 and an hour of your time. You should definitely get yourself a soldering iron and learn how to do these things yourself.

          still, by your figures, that's only AU$220 and an hour of your time....

          I'd want to know just what they are charging you all that cash for. Last pickup swap I paid for, I provided the pickup and they charged me $40

            Didn't notice your location. Still, you really should invest some time in learning to do those things yourself; you'd be surprised at how easy they are.

            intonation, etc, he's doing something with the frets like cleaning them or some shit i dunno
            If he's leveling the frets, then I could understand the cost.
