  • My Poor Crippled Model 1

I just picked this one up today. Only paid $150 with case.

Only thing is it has had a partial amputaion. But I just couldn't leave it hanging there. So I bought it.

I have someone who can resore it, except for the Charvel decal

You can add wood to the end and mask the logo when repainting it. It could be done.

No worries, it's just got an ESP headstock now!

I'd round it off for a Krameresque look.
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.

Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.

Which is basically a rip-off of an '80s Washburn headstock anyway! :ROTF:

Anybody know where I can get a white Charvel logo. Preferably the "by Jackson/Charvel" one?

Is that necessarily a good thing?

I'm repairing a break like that right now. You can do it yourself easily. Epoxy filler or wood, slapped on, sanded down, painted. But I'd like to know how you get it fixed, too!

Heck, I'd leave it as is for that "character" look. Maybe just smooth out the edges a bit with some light grit sand paper.

Thought about leaving it. Funny, I don't have to be protective of the tip when I'm sitting around. lol

I've been asking everyone I can think of. But does anybody know where I can get a Charvel by J/C logo in white?

I can't find one anywhere. Not even on ebay. I don't want to mask the logo off. I want to do this right. Make it as close to original as possible.

This is my fav Model Charvel (maple board) I hope to do it justice.

I'd leave it as well; maybe smooth it if it has splinters showing. Call it a Charvel Manx ;-)
