abandoned project

I started this project with hi expectations but died now....

The neck is from a model 500 charvette(the plywood body gave way...) neck feels great.

Body is from a js20(cheap current line-fender) i had reprayed oxford green.

Trem is an original Jackson.

Dimarzio and wilburn pups

I put the thing together and it just plays shit......I got even more put off from it when I picked this up for $285AUS which plays amazing.....

More spare parts I guess...

Yep, sometimes the mutt projects don't work out well ...bad tone, playability, etc. The question is did you have fun putting it together? Maybe you could try a different body or pickups?
