    Christmas came Early Charvel 750XL

    I have been looking for a fixed bridge Charvel 750XL for some time now. The other day I see an ad in a local online listing stating Charvel XL 750 new condition original owner. So I give the guy a call and sure as shit the guitar is brand new. Cherry Sunburst I almost shit myself when I saw it. He said to me that he has only ever plugged it in twice since he had it. Of course I bought it on the spot. I would never have dreamed that I would find this guitar in new condition. I took the guitar straight to my tech who has it now doing a complete setup. He could not believe the guitar he said this guitar is new no fret ware I said no shit LOL. Anyway I should have it back by the end of next week I will post pics.

        I paid $700 Canadian for the 750XL. The guy I bought it off of was a guitar collector mainly older Gibson models. Before he sold it to me he tried to find one on Ebay to do a comparison. He bought the guitar in his early 20’s because he said he liked the maple burst. All his Les Paul models have similar tops. Said he played it a couple of times than got work in northern Ontario moved and left this one at his parents house in the closet. You see people post on here all the time with these great finds and you say to yourself that guy must have a horse shoe up his ass to find that guitar I would never be so lucky. Well the horse finally kicked my ass and I found this one and it is a great feeling. I will post pics of the 750 when I get it back from my tech next week.

          That's a very special find. Congrats!

          I was happy to find my 475 almost new with the plastic film over the cover plates for $215, but then that was 8 yrs ago...

          Getting a basically new 750 for the money is excellent.
