Here is my Magenta Predator. Agree that the bridge on it is was better than those damn JT6 bridges. Thats why I changed my 88's bridge.

Incorrect. The 3DR, is one of the first Dinky bodies that Jackson/Charvel made.

You'll have to make up your own decoding scheme for PREDATOR. :ROTF: I've never played a Predator, but I do have a 3DR and it plays pretty nice.

Mine was modded when I got it though, with a Jackson single-coil in the neck, and a 3-way blade instead of the 5-way. I've since replaced the bridge pickup with a JB.

Being one of the first, if not THE first Dinky guitar, there were some refinements that needed to be made. I believe the horns are shorter on the 3DR than the current Dinky that we all know so well.

How are you liking that JB in there Spiv?

I love it. Great clarity, good bass response without getting muddy, just enough highs and mids to cut through the mix. The only bad part is that it's very hard to get a clean tone from it, but that could be because I have it raised pretty high.

The pickup that was in there was a J-95, which sounded good but had too much mids for me. Great 80s tone but I was looking for something a bit more versatile.

Is it just my eyes, or does your blue Predator have a matching headstock?
