        Bolt on !

        I beleive it's a fusion

And I also think it's a dimarzio in the bridge.

        I'm interested in purchasing it.

I have a model 4 Charvel, how could it compare ?

          RunDMC is correct.
          It's a Fusion Deluxe.

          Short scale guitar.

Comparing it with a Model 4 is akin to apples and oranges.

            Here's the differences though:
Body - The Model 4 has a full-sized strat body and the Fusion DLX has a "Dinky" style body.

Neck - There's the obvious 22 frets on the Model 4 and 24 frets on the Fusion. Other differences are the scale lengths. The Model 4 is 25.5" (Fender Scale) and the Fusion (which what makes it a fusion and not a Dinky) is 24.75 (Gibson Scale). The other difference would be cosmetic as in the logos are different.

Pickups - As you can see the pickup configuration is different between the two. When both instruments are stock there are other differences. The bridge humbucker in the Model 4 is the J50BC, the Fusion has the J90C. The single coils in the model 4 are J200s (2) and the Fusion has a single slanted J200R.

Electronics - The model 4 came with a JE1200 Active Preamp with a Mid boost/cut knob. The fusion is just your straight pickup to amp guitar.

Fusion as a 24 2/3 scale.....here is a pic of a USA Fusion. Not sure why they make these. Once you get used to the 25.5 it seems to crowded.

This was a borrowed guitar...didnt like it, looked cool though

                Fusion as a 24 2/3 scale
24 3/4 not 24 2/3. and yes it does look cool

Other more important differences besides scale is hardware. JT-590 bridge with locking nut usually means the ability to sustain a note better. That is my opinion, but opinions is almost spelled like onions, so someone elses might smell a little different.
I know the old saying that the value of an opinion is generally inversely proportional to the strength with which it is held.

Other than the scale lenght the back shape seems to be about the same as my Model 88 . Thin but nothing to crazy . If you want thin try finding a USA Fusion it will make the Charvel feel like a baseball bat.

                        Great guitars.

I have a 100% stock Fusion Deluxe, a Fusion Deluxe Body (same color as above) with a Fusion Pro Neck, black hardware and EMG81 EMG-S at 18 volts, and a stock Fusion Pro.

By Pro I mean the ebony / MOP bound necks.
