I just got a 750XL too. Mine still has the oversized rings, but they look kind of funny to me. One of them is also starting to crack I was thinking of redrilling to use standard rings. If I drill it JUST right, the edges of my new rings will cover up the old holes - scary, i really don't want to mess this up.

Yeah, that's an OFR drop in upgrade. TOTALLY worth it. I've never had an original Floyd, I've had Schallers and Ibanez Edges. The Floyd really is much smoother than I anticipated.
