    EDIT: I just put up a new video with this guitar in the MP3 section if you want to check it out.

    I really love these MIJ models that came out around 2002. I think they are far under appreciated. Anyway, I snagged a Journeyman body last year on ebay, and then eventually a complete Standard. I took the neck from the standard, routed out for a neck pickup on the Journeyman body, and put it together as a new Standard. I know, they are both blue, but I really liked the transparent finish. It's kind of dark, but in the right light, it looks great. Here are the pics.

          that's cool. I like the trans finish too. Only thing I'd want different is a blade instead of a toggle. Otherwise, that's pretty sweet

            I also prefer the blade, but since I didn't want to cut a slot in the guitar and mess up the paint, I left the little toggle.

              I like the early 2000's models as well. What you did looks pretty tasty! I like it.
