  • "I'm melting...I'm melting" NGD!!

    A blast form the past!

    1988 Charvel Model 6...

And yes...it is in as good of shape as it looks!

EMG 81/sa/sa which is o-k, as I have an 85 and a Black Out neck I can try as well...

Currently tuned to drop B with 13s!!

Fuckalicious. Totally 1980s, but I love it.
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

        I nearly broke her back

          You sonofabitch! :ROTF:

Of any of the old Model series, my favorite model AND the Fire Crackle paint job I always wanted.

That is just awesome, nice score!

Had to retune to it to C...just couldn't get my head wrapped around drop B. Really like it. Got it off a local CL-er for $450. Not a super deal, but good enough. Came with the original chain saw case as well.

To adjust the relief on the neck, it looks like you need one of those angled"sockets"?

When I get some time I'm changing it to Eb with 10's...and I'm gonna need to adjust the relief I'd imagine.

That's a hell of a lot of guitar for $450 IMHO. Nice crackle too. Congrats!

                  Thief!

Looks like the JT6 was replaced with an OFR?
                  Good choice.

Nah...the original owner replaced it with a Schaller no-name copy. The quality of it doesn't look to bad actually, but that's one area I'm upgrading in the near future.

The neck feels flat...doesn't feel like a compound radius. Anyone know?

The crackle on the back of the neck looks brutal! Congrats man!
Two guitars are better than one.
