Did the model 6 ever have dot inlays? I've heard the 86s did, and I know the 4s from that year had them, but every picture I see of an 86 shows them having fins, including in the catalog scans.
Model 6's always had fins. The model 5's that where also neck thru but with different pickup configs had dots. 86 was also the only year the model 4 had dots.
