Cool. I've actually never played a Kahler so i've been really interested in what people have to say about them.

Well, its a Kahler, but its a Kahler Fulcrum. Most times when we say Kahler, we're rally talking about:

Well, I live in Iowa and its coming from Ct., it should ship out tomorrow and be here in time for school to start next. I will post a review of my impression of the Kahler and the guitar, it looks very clean. There is another Charvel the is an Model 3 for 229 on the GC website that I almost bought with the tooth paste Chavel logo about the same color, I might pick that one up too if someone else doesn't buy it.

if it has a toothpaste logo, it's not a Model 3. Got some specs? We can identify the one on the GC site if you can tell us about it or provide a pic.

Yeah, don't confuse that fulcrum trem with the typical Kahler. totally different beasts. Not the best trem in the world, IMHO. I never had much luck with those staying in tune, well, and the trems are stiff. Still, you will find it IS a solid and kinda heavy guitar. Just don't go silly on the trem and you should be alright.

From the quick search I did, if it's the one for $229 in Tampa, it looks like a Fusion. Metallic red, Dinky body, HSS, 24 frets, dot inlays, and access scallop. No headstock pic that I can find, but everything about it looks like a Fusion to me:

The way the GC used site works is. If a guitar sells whether in the store or online. It is automatically removed from the site. So that fusion isnt it. Cus he bought it already.
It has to be a 3A due to the trem. 86 was the only year they used Kahlers. So it couldnt be a toothpaste logo 375 cuz those had the JT580 IIRC.
Nice score model 3s are awesome guitars. I miss mine.

I have pictures of the guitar from the Tampa store that their manager sent me, it has the toothpaste logo and has a few dings in the body. I would post them but I am having trouble with photobucket. Let me see what I can do later. Thanks to all for your insight, I am waiting for the new lady to arrive in house so I can get started abusing a red head like they should be. My wife is the other red head in the family that I abuse.
