  • Big Block Brass Question

I'm finally getting ready to put my RX10D back together after a repaint etc. I want to upgrade the trem block to a Big Block Brass. Does anyone know what the biggest size is I can put on one of these without having it stick out the back? The bridge is a JT-580.
    Thanks for the help!

      I squeazed a 37mm into an SL2H.

You'll have to put it back together and measure to make sure.

32mm for a deep recessed trem, 34mm for a flush mount trem (even if the cavity is recessed), and 42mm for a top mount trem.

            34? There's 37 for non-recessed/flush mount. Never heard of a 34.

I got a 42 on a non-recessed with recessed spring cover (pro mod). It's tight, but it fits.

mybad. no your right. i was getting confused with generic sustain block replacements that are available.

I went with the 32. After doing some measuring and cutting a wooden dummy to test it turns out that the 32 is the one for me.
Thanks for all the input guys
