what do you think of this guitar?

I bought this on ebay to replace my fender stratocaster that got stolen. I know it's not an original jackson, since it's kind of a mutt, but is it all that bad of a deal?

Might be a great player. I like the Gotoh floyd with the upgraded block. Looks like high quality parts all the way around. If it's a mutt the value that I would be concerned with is what I could get if I chose to part it out.

Nice guitar Grahf as long as your happy you got the best deal on the planet hope to see pics of it up on here soon. Diggin the snake skin has always been a favorite of mine. Looks like someone put some money in it at one time or another, so it was loved by someone and not just a guitar. Good luck.

I think it's a bit high for a mutt. $450 would be more like it.

Looks pretty sweet! The weakest link could be the neck pickup, I'd stick a Hot Rails in there once you get the cash.

hey thanks guys, I think you're right about the 450, luckily this guitar is replacing my fender stratocaster which was stolen when my friend borrowed it, he offered to buy me a new guitar but I wasn't going to make him pay for a new USA Strat.

So I'm actually kind of glad this one has single coils, i'll probably put some texas specials in there if I don't like the yamahas
