I never knew what model it was, I sold it but was curious. It was a great axe, always stayed in tune. Anyone ID this for me please?

DK2 in Trans Red. Made in Japan. circa 2000 I'd guess.

Great guitar but I agree, Don't like the "brushed chrome" they started using
Looks like spray paint
Not dogging the guitar just don't care for the hardware

I was never a fan of the brushed hardware either, but some folks liked it. It looked tacky to me, like cheap silver melamine furniture.

Although at the time, I heard almost as much "thank god they've replaced that cheap looking chrome" as I heard people say they didn't like it. Functionally there was nothing wrong with it.
