Refin ideas

Got a star mutt guitar the other day and is off getting stripped now so help me decide what 80's graphic to put on it.Pics if you have them.
Its an alder body BTW so thats a +.
Its getting a USA SD/Ontario reverse pointy neck.
Chrome OFR and chrome tuners.
1 hum so lots of real estate to cover.

well, I just did a refin in a tiger stripe graphic. its only a 2 color, so its not that bad. mine had its challenges, but I would be happy to shapre my experiences with you if your interested it doing this graphic to try to save you the trouble I had. let me know if your interested. here is a pic of mine.

Depending on which neck (maple or ebony) is bolted to it would determine which of the two graphics should be done. I too am a fan of Chris Holmes.

I have done refins thats why I let the pros do it.LOL.
RSguitarworks does great work and they are buds so they cut me some cash slack.
Mine came out pretty nice but I don't have the super awesome spray booth they do.

I wanted to say Rising Sun graphic also, it looks very cool on a star body but than I would change hardware to black, not sure how would it look with chrome...

hey you know another good but expensive option? real snakeskin covering. I am going to do that at somepoint . I will find the right "donor" guitar and buy some snake skin and apply it to the front of the guitar.
