1996 KE3 "Professional", no S/N (stupid stickers missing) but I lucked out as the features of this guitar were produced in this fashion for one year only. I know this doesnt help the cause any. Maybe I lucked out even more on it, but for it not being part of the sought after 91- 95 "Professional" line, it is hands down number 2 of all the Jacksons Ive owned concerning build and craftsmanship quality. Number 1 definitely goes to the SL2H I had for an ever too short a period of time.Last edited by Twitch; 12-13-2010, 06:56 AM.HTTP 404 - Signature Not Found

Hi all, I am new to this forum and writing on behalf of my son, so I apologize if I sound a bit ignorant in advance. A couple of years ago, my son purchased a Jackson guitar at a pawn shop and I am trying to do some research to see if it indeed a genuine Jackson or a counterfeit. As best I can tell it is a Dinky JS style in Inferno red. It has 22 frets, a bolt on neck and dots on the fretboards. I am concerned because the serial number stamped on the neckplate doesn't seem to be similar to any of the numbers I have found on any of the sites I have visited and this seems to be the place to ask questions. The serial number of this guitar is 02050088 and the neckplate is completely blank except for the number. Can anyone help me to identify whether this is a genuine Jackson guitar and if so, when/where it was manufactured? Any help would be most appreciated.
