Post your Performer MIKs (Made in Korea)

If anyone has an MIK Performer (which were made 1995 to 1998) could you please post your serial number and/or a picture? If anyone has taken off the neck please post anything you have found written / stamped there as well. I am trying to collect a little data for the MIK serial number scheme FAQ.

I suspect there are not any MIK serials that lead with 0, even though the assumption has been that MIK Performer have 7 digit serials that start with 0 or 1. Thus far I have never seen a 0 serial and I suspect it is a mix-up with the 8 digit MIIs that lead with a 0.

Detailed yes....complete is another issue entirely (that looks doubtful, but I think between a few of us on here we can compile a decent body of data that will represent the entire range accurately)

JS (MIK)

1037236 JS20 marking on body seem to indicate 1996 build date


If we can ID an end of range serial number we can approximate the number of guitars built per year and with only a few dated guitars we can build some reference points for the MIK imports.
