Its a matter of opinion if you like active PUs look into the DKMG, or if you want a passive HSS config. theres the DK2 or DK2M. you could also look into the COW signiture Dinky if you wanted a simpler latout/7 string option. I own a DK2T and i love it, but it all comes down to what you like.

A used (or even new) DKMG or DXMG is a relatively cost effective way to get into a quality Dinky to see what you like. You probably want to stay away from the JS30DK / JS30DKT....otherwise find any Dinky that has the options you are looking for (tremolo or fixed bridge, active or passive pickups, 24 or 22 fret neck, sustainer or without, etc?).Help build a Jackson serial number database by submitting your serial number to: http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101351

The DKMG would automatically fit those requirements. But if ya wanna spend some serious wonga, go for a DK1. Both guitars come with EMG's and trem as standard and have a battery box.If you choose to buy a Dinky with stock passive pickups and upgrade to actives, you'll need a stuff a battery in the control cavity and replace the pots and output jack.Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

I've seen a few nice looking ones go on eBay for as little as $400.00Help build a Jackson serial number database by submitting your serial number to: http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101351
