    U

U can't post a pic directly from your PC. You need to open up an acct on a pic hosting site, like photobucket.com, and link them from there...

See the "Import Serial Number / Country of Origin FAQ": http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101353

It looks like from the serial number (6 digit) that it's probably a MIJ Fusion made in 1991 [see third row in 6 digit serials in the FAQ].

Here the pic of the beauty

The Bridge Humbucker has been replaced (now a DiMarzio Joe Satriani). Does anybody now which Hummbucker was originally installed? I have a spare J-90C with black cover, does this one fit as well (it is pretty big)?

If it is a 1991 Fusion (which it doesn't totally look like...I don't see the lower horn scoop out on the front of the body, but it's hard to see that part of the photo....and the inlays are different vs. catalog scan / my Fusion, but those are the inlays on my Charvel Fusion, and pretty much anything is possible on Jacksons in this area anyway) then it would be a J-50B Vintage humbucking pickup. The paint job also means it could be a Fusion Pro, which didn't have the lower horn scoop out anyway. Nice guitar anyway you shake a stick at it, congrats

Thanks for your feedback. BUT after checking the Fusion models I´ve never seen the jack input on top of the guitar (Fusions normally on the side?).

Could it be a Stealth Pro (but in this color?)???

As I said above, there are some problems with the look of the guitar with it being a Fusion, but it does appear to have a Fusion serial number. I have a Fusion bass that has a front mounted jack, but that is typically a Stealth feature.

You know the easiest way to ascertain if it is a Fusion is to measure the scale (nut to the tremolo), the Fusions are short scale (24.75" guitars) instead of the typical Jackson normal scale (25.5").

Thanks! Do you know from the picture which tremolo it is (JT-590 or JT-580 or what?)?

                            That is a JT-580.

You could also take the neck off and check for stamps in the neck pocket with model designation and/or production dates.

Thanks for fast feedback! GREAT! Was the JT-580 built on rather low end guitars and the JT-590 on the high-end?

AFTER CHECKING THE INTERNET I HAVE JUST SEEN FUSIONS WITH 24 FRETS; MINE HAS 22 FRETS, can it still be a Fusion?
