Hey guys. Some of you read the other post, but here is now at home. I got some nice pics, but these were taken home. I kinda of impulse bought this one, but i do this a lot lately. I inspect it quickly to ensure no huge faults in the guitar, if it clears i go home. I do most if not all of my maintenance and modifications. I am not new to soldering irons and wiring schema, as i have worked as a technician in electronics for a while now. So anyways, i get home, snap some pictures of it, and then i decided to set her up. Strings looked old, but il go grab a pack later this week. So i pull off the trem cavity cover and i noticed i got myself a Tremel-No free! I don't think the man new what is was. Turns out he bought it used for his son, who never really got into it. I just bought it for 320$. I dealt it down from his original 450$. I am now thoroughly happy with my purchase. I tuned her up (took me under 10 minutes to reset and adjust the spring tension. Thank you Tremel-No.) and plugged her in. I didn't turn the volume up too high, but i'm liking these Duncan Designed pick-ups more than the Seymours that come with the new Pro series. These ones have a lot of bite and a nice crunchy crisp blues tone on the neck. I might still change them if i can get myself an DiMarzio Evo or Paf Pro for cheap.
Was this a good deal - i think i made a nice purchase, but i am not familiar with how much an Import Jackson is.
