Well we're not actually "married" , but we do have a kid together, so we might as well be. She gets pissy when I buy new stuff because she wants a ring, and I'm not at a point where I want to get it yet. Although, if I do get her one it will give her a reason to shut up. HAHA, this could turn in to a relationship counselling thread real quick but I'll spare every body. I think I'll hold off on the new gear purchase until we get things sorted financially. Until then I'll keep mentally masturbating about the Dk2m and SLS3. And there's always new guitars coming out, check again in a year. Time to start putting some money away.

Then we got back together (not re-married). I think she realized the err of her ways. The bills are paid, I get her things here and there, and now she encourages me to get what I want.

I did it, I bought the DK2M. I traded in a 12 string that I don't play any more. So in total it's only costing me $250 for a brand new DK2M. I'm stoked.

Well the good news is I got the guitar home and still have my balls. The old lady isn't choked and she actually said she was happy I got the guitar back because she knows how much I love that guitar. So Happy Ending for me
