  • My Trans Blue Dinky Pro

    Hi all!
I have been lurking for a while and figured I would show you the DK-2 Pro I picked up recently. She is bone stock except I replaced the stock Jackson bridge with an original Floyd Rose.

It made a world of difference.
The guitar sounds so much clearer and a bit more acoustic even when unplugged.

I hope to pick up an older Professional EX RR.
By the way is that guitar half way decent?

The Floyd came out of a custom guitar that I picked up in our local Craigslist.
I paid 90 bucks for it and it had an EMG 81 and the Floyd in it.

I replaced the bridge in just a few minutes as it is a direct fit for the stock Jackson unit.

It took longer to set it up but after that is was all good.
It sounds SO much better. They should have installed these from the factory and charged us extra for them

I say go for it you will not be disappointed.

Looks nice, congrats. I have a chance to pick up one of those for a reasonable price...trying to find something comparable to replace my old Charvel M1.

How does it play and sound? Is that a JB?

Was there originally a JT580 or 590? Is the post spacing the same as the OFR?
Two guitars are better than one.

            Would've been a 580

No, not as decent as that DK-2. I believe the EX had dot inlays, might as well shop for a RR3.

The factory trem was a 580LP and yes the posts were the same.

The guitar plays like butter and sounds great
