  • Jackson Serials.

    I have 3 Jackson guitars now, I was wondering if you guys could tell me a little bit more about these guitars? what year, etc...

    Dk2m 9765839
    Christian Olde Wolbers 6 Desert Cam. 9740082

    There are billions of threads on here like this one. And they all have the same answer:

    Import serial numbers mean nothing.

              The best you'll do is get an estimated date. The ones starting with 97 would be around 2003/2004 IIRC.

                    Your Dominion is 2008 (the 08 on later Jap neckthroughs refers to the year, Spivonius! )

                    DK2M probaby around 2008
                    COW probably around 2007

                    but for these last 2, you really should pull the necks off and look for a date in the pocket(s), then report your findings on that other thread you posted on today (the database thread).

                          Damb !! I'm glad I just started playing mine again!
                          Youse guys are tough info seekers. :ROTF: Don't remember
                          who said it but, yes I've been looking in pawn shops for
                          Charvells and Jacksons only...Found a few, but I'm looking
                          for San Dimas mades. Someone said I'd be buying
                          again, don't remember who and I'm to lazy to go look it up.
