Its funny, but I'll bet if she never saw them in the same place at the same time, she probably wouldn't know it was a different guitar. Different style headstock, pups, trem... girls don't notice that stuff. Blue guitar.
Jackson DK2 (trans blue)
Jackson DKMGT, EMG-Hz (trans black)

And happy, yeah! I'd never even SEEN a DK2 before but I was hoping for great things based on the couple of Jacksons that I'd playd as well as all the good comments from you guys.
And true enough, this neck is fabulous! Wow wow wow.Jackson DK2 (trans blue)

Speaking of trems, that was my first time stringing a Floyd. I know why I wanted a hard tail now. It was easy at first. Then the small E popped out 3 times and I had to redo it.
But then with the old dead strings off, the Duncans came to life. WOW! But what happened to my trem angle? ACK! My action sux now! Strings were 0.046 instead of the 0.042's that were on it. Had to learn how to block, tune, and balance the trem angle with the spring adjustment screws.
Now it sounds a plays great, but that was an hour that I could have been PLAYING the instrument instead of working on it and performing a Hook's Law experiment. <sigh>
