NGD Dominion; why is mine different?

Just got this Wednesday night; been playing it a lot since then. Can't even tell you how much I love this guitar right now! I was looking on the Jackson website though, and noticed that the back of my neck is different and I don't have the sort wood grain binding. Anyone know why?

I'm taking a guess since I don't have one and the news ones have and unfinished/unpainted neck and you get an 2009 or older model.

BINGO! you have an older model the new models have unfinished necks and natural binding. i have owned a few dominions and you probably have the nicest quilt top of any i have seen . so dont worry about it .

Thanks for the info guys; after I move a few things and buy a new amp I'll just have to get a new Dominion too!
