Can anyone tell me what guitar this was?

I was in a pawn shop today and they had a Neck-Thru body Jackson; it was like a a dark amber(ish) color flamed top and a Jackson LFR. It was H-H with Seymour Duncan pups (2 knobs one 5 way). It has really nice shark fin inlays, and oddly enough only 22 frets. It looks like a soloist, or maybe a Neck-Thru dinky, but hell I dunno. It was only $399; I was wanting to buy it, but without actually knowing what it was I passed on it, I can probably pick it up Monday if someone can tell me what it is and if $399 is a good price. They wouldn't let me take pictures or see a serial number (guy said they had been scammed out of a guitar that way before).

sounds like a sl4. made in japan. that's about right price wise.

I think you're right; if that's the lower end of soloists... then damn! That thing played great!

I'm very new to non-low level Jackson stuff (Dominion being my first upper mid level type guitar from Jackson).
