  • ID Help with my DXMG please. :)

Earlier at school I was searching for DXMG with blackouts, I clicked on a link to a JEM fansite, heard some of them bitching about the neck blah blah blah, but then someone posted something about DXMGs being made in japan and india, then I was like WTF? I checked mine when I got home and I couldn't find a "Crafted in India" on the back of the headstock or a "Made in Japan" sticker on the neck.

so just wondering if you guys could help me with location and year it was made.

    Serial Number: 9679049

    Thanks
    Mazz

Mine has a later Serial Number but it stands that it's made in Japan on the neck.

7 digits means it's made in Japan. The older ones were MII.

My chart's at work, but I think that one's around 2002. Yes, Made in Japan.

              Your'e welcome, Mazzie!

The Indian DXMGs were made in 2001 (& 2000 IIRC) only.
