great guitar. hate the hsh config but it makes it up in playability. put some nice humbuckers in there and you're ready to roll. dont care for that tapework, but the starting bid is probably the most i'd dish out for one.
for some reason i thought this was a thread talkin crap about me. i was like, what the hell did i do ha ha. shoulda known better since its in the import section.

Kinda funny. I have jdr94's old JDR-94 and I taped it off with wrinkled chrome tape to see how it would look with silverflake stripes in the shape of a RR scheme.

Booger007 - +1 to everything jdr94 said and I'll add that it is the thinnest neck I've ever felt from back of neck to the front of the fretboard.

I loved mine but the neck warped. I liked the pickups the trems are on the cheap side. If the necks weren't so thin I get another(getting old hands hurt on thin necks)

Well, at least the pink bonus fret markers are decals so you can peel them off.

These guitars don't seem to hold their value very well, although I don't know why. I have one and it's a fantastic guitar. I put a Bill Lawrence USA 500XL in the bridge with a Duncan A2Pro in the neck and it sounds amazing for metal of all sorts, up to and including death metal.
I'll agree the trem is kinda cheap, even compared to the JT580, but it works reasonably well.

Be aware though, if you want to change the single coil, you need something that doesn't have the kinda triangular baseplate. It won't fit. I had a duncan Alnico Pro single to put in mine and it wouldn't fit. So you need something without that lip.
That said, for metal, in conjunction with 2 good humbuckers, the Jackson single coil is fine (I fuckin HATED the stock humbuckers though, total shit, worse than Epiphone pickups by a mile!)

                    Congrats though, you'll love it.

yeah man, me too. i already know what i'm gonna do to it. i'm gonna drop in a set of blackouts, put a no-hole single coil cover in the middle to fill the space. disconnect the selector. disconnect the tone( i never use it ) and put it up front where the volume would be. i have push pull pot sittin around which i'll use to select neck/bridge. ha ha. can you tell i've had a few of these. to finish it off i will have a custom decal made and cover the face to look custom(costs about 30 bucks and looks killer) heres a pic of me playin my old one.

i had the decal made and just laid it over the single coil route, vol position, and selector. you couldnt tell from a few feet away. Still to me one of the best playin guitars for its price range, IMO its basically a professional, before the slight alterations into the performer series.

£200 with a hard case, that's a sweet deal man! The custom decal is a cool idea too. I love how my JDR 94 looks as it is (I like the HSH config!) but the decal's a great way to hide things you don't like.
