The serial alone makes it a 1992. The matching headstock, blade switch and the H-H config and you have the Fusion Plus.

The STD had a toggle not a blade switch and a black headstock.

Rick, don't rely on the ´93 catalog. It has got errors. The Fusion STD has HSS config and a blade switch. It seems to me that you're describing the Fusion HH.

You can use this list as a quick reference with links to the catalog scans. Hover your mouse over the Model Names to get a fast visual ID of the guitar you're searching for:

The plus is the one that "looks" like it, sorta. But not really? I would go with wrong year or something? And since when can basswood look like ash.....Rick is more then likely right though.

Henrik, Look at the 1992 catalog... it's right there. I don't know why eveyone is looking in the 93 catalog given the serial clearly makes it a 92.

Yes it is and you're spot on, but I am not commenting on the Fusion Plus at all. I am commenting on the STD comment you made earlier. I carefully quoted that in my first post, but here goes again:

The STD doesn't have a toggle switch :-) The reason for me bringing up the ´93 catalog, is that it has the text for the Fusion STD and HH accidentally swapped, making the reader believe that the STD has a toggle.
