It's the Pro-Fusion mod!!! I did this same setup on my Soloist Pro a few years back, and it works great. I messed up and got a reverse polarity Quarter Pounder, though, and for some reason it doesn't do the noise-cancelling thing in positions 2 and 4.

The Quarter Pounder is great for the middle, though. It's so powerful that you can crank it all the way down to body level and still get good volume and tone from it.

I just responded to you over on the Charvel forum.
this is the first I've seen or your Pro, but I guess great minds think alike.
Nice guitar, what's in the neck and the bridge?
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

I have a TB-5/Lil 59er/Quarter Pounder combo in mine, too. That's what makes it so funny. They really are identical setups now.

I bought a QP here on the forum to help balance out an H/S strat, the noiseless Dimarzio's don't go too well with high output hums IMO so I wanted a loud single. The QP is a great match for a hum and blends nicely in pos 2, being louder it hums louder though but that's what singles do...

I tried to find them forever, and was reluctantly going to settle on doweling them, but then I just walked into a true value one day and found them by chance. I bought like fifty of them for both 3/8 and the smaller import size. If anybody needs more info just shoot me a PM. True Value has them but Ace Hardware does not, I'm sure something like home depot stocks them as well.
