What do you mean by neck is pieced together? By the headstock? That's a scarf joint. It's there because of the direction of the woodgrain and the tilt back headstock. A single piece with the tilt back can crack on the grain lines easier. Or something like that...

Yes, i was talking about the neck joint. Never seen the jackson necks but that makes sense.
Too bad i cant play too long these past few days because while drilling i drilled my middle finger, just enough for a small hole.
Should be good to go in about a week.
