Installed a Floyd Rose Temolo Stablizer and....

I installed one of these:

I used this type of screw insert to prevent future thread stripping in the wood.

I put a 1 screw in the center and another screw at the end so the stabilzer butt up against it. I figure this screw would prevent the unit from sliding back...

Anyway, I found tuning the guitar to be a little more stable and it seemed to me that I was now able to get pinch harmonics in places where I struggled before, and they were clearer sounding. Not sure if all this possible from this little device, but the guitar sounds hotter with it.

My setup is a 93 Dinky XL Pro with a SD Screamin Demon at the bridge..I would recommend this pickup for this maple top basswood body...It gets you that 80's hair band sound plus more..

I just got one of the Goldo units from joe on Ebay. it is at my luthiers now to be installed along with the OFR with a brass block upgrade .on my 95 DR3. I am also hoping a D-Tuna will work. i am interested in your findings as I may get a couple of these for 2 of my other guitars
